5-10-2024: The Mixer Tool

This blog a Mixer Tool calculation sheet.

Publishing a temporary material because it takes time to write about ... However the core material is ready, it will not be different when completed, so whom can understand a work in work might be interested in the art amateur followship.

It is about getting the proportions of components of a mixture, based on three components, with a full example.

Note: it does work with a basic weighted average mix, as explained in a former blog (MS Paint) but it does not work with a more sophisticated averaging as it is in GIMP (L2 square root of the squares) for a more perceptual approach, because it is not offered to the user to overwrite the white values (cells protected). Thus it is not possible to change to 255 x 255 to have all the inputs squared.

The sheet works like this that an additional white is automatically mixed, and, if does not work it is switched to an additional black, automatically.
