6/7/2024: Visuals for meditation (tribute to Dr Wayne Dyer) - image retouching with rawtherapee
Dr. Wayne Dyer passed away in 2015, but, the website is still on, and worth to visit for whom interested in digging into mandalas stances and meditation.
artgraphic-db to give some insights about the mandala journey and how to meet God (according to Wayne...).
According to MacroTrends (quoted by Google), the life expectancy in the United States in 2024 is 79.25 years, which is a 0.18% increase from 2023, while another source quotes 81.7 years as a medium life expentancy. (Dr Dyer did very well!).

Above, a mosaic based on the pictures of Dr Wayne Dyer book, Getting in the gap, making conscious contact with God through meditation, which artgraphic-db does not know if it is still published.
The book presents the concept of gap, a state that is achieved by Japa meditation and that allows to have an experience of relationship with God, Wayne says: "perhaps, the most elusive space for human beings to enter is the gape between our thoughts. Usually, we stay on one thought, until another takes over.../...".
Taken form the book, [artgraphic-db] to illustrate an image retouching to change a mood of unreal, meditative, to a more stressed effect:
Preparatory: removing the text; here, a couple of filters are used under an magic eraser AI tool proposed by https://create.pixelcut.ai/magic-eraser:
Left, original scan, right, text removed.

I was not super satisfied with this first result and I have tried to improve the situation, removing the remaining strain left by the text removal.
After retouching, in fact the left image above was retouched and, then, the rawtherapee capability to apply a set of profiles saved in a parameter file was used.
As a result, the second trial does not have the strain of the first result, but still shows a higher contrast and a couple of other corrections.
See the link link for more details about parameter files in rawtherapee.
